Overview

andrewparra.com is a personal portfolio for Andrew Parra. It doesn't require an account, doesn't sell anything, and doesn't knowingly collect sensitive personal information. This page explains the little data that does pass through the site.

The contact form

The "Send a message" form on the Contact page doesn't submit to a server. It opens a pre-filled email in your own email app (a mailto: link) using the name, email, and message you typed. That content goes directly from your device to Andrew's inbox the same way any email does — this site never receives, stores, or has access to it.

Cookies and analytics

No cookies are set, and no analytics run, until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you accept, the site loads privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics (page views, referring site, general device/browser type) to understand what's being read — never anything that identifies you personally. You can decline the banner, or clear your browser's local storage at any time, to opt back out.

Hosting and fonts

This site is hosted on Netlify, which may log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) as part of normal web hosting. Typeface files are loaded from Fontshare and Google Fonts, which may log IP addresses per their own policies when your browser requests a font file.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected here directly — there's no mailing list or account to notify separately.
